There are so many beautiful, wonderful, and puzzling things in this universe that somehow seem to challenge explanation. The Grand Canyon. Stonehenge. Solange Knowles’s marriage photo, meticulously recreated with Barbie dolls.

The diminutive nonetheless mostly extreme stage sees a Solange-esque figurine donning a caped white gown, identical to Knowles’s possess overwhelming Kenzo marriage dress. On one side of Small Solange stands (little) large sis Beyonce; on a other, Mama Tina Knowles. The rest of her spousal party, all embellished out in white, stands during a prepared behind a bride and her fam. On actual stands, done of plastic. Because they’re dolls.

UPDATE: Hooray! After hours of wondering, a poser of a Knowles-as-Dolls marriage pic has been solved—in Elle.com’s possess criticism section, no less!
The creator is Ronny Larsson, a Swede with a need to reconstruct cocktail enlightenment images with childhood toys. (You can see some-more of his awesomely comical work on his Instagram, @ADollWorldAfterAll.)
And maybe most importantly, Knowles, herself, has given credit where credit is due—in a form of an Instagram criticism on Larsson’s original post: “Your work overwhelmed and warmed my heart so much:) we are over awesome! @adollworldafterall WOW!”
