Beyonce Is In A $100mil Worth Of Trouble Over Her Dance Game ...

In April of 2011, Beyonce Knowles tried to extort money out of Gate Five, a developer who created the star’s very own game, called Starpower: Beyonce. The story has it that Beyonce tried to get more money out of the developer around Christmas of 2010, where the developer then had to drop 70 employees to make everyone happy. Except the employees, of course.

When all of this happened, Gate Five decided that Beyonce was out of line. The developer subsequently filed for their very own lawsuit for $ 100mil of profits, as well as investment costs. Beyonce then applied to the courts to get the claim thrown out, however she was unsuccessful.

The result of her foolish attempt to extort money has now landed her in a lot of trouble.

Gate Five is currently suing Beyonce over a breach of contract, as her actions were “a bad faith breach of contract so callous that, on what appeared to be a whim, she destroyed Gate Five’s business and drove 70 people into unemployment, the week before Christmas”.

The courts had said that Beyonce “made an extortionate demand for entirely new compensation terms she wanted”.

When Beyonce’s plan “backfired and drove away the financier (who found [Knowles] too erratic to do business with), she pulled out of the project in breach of the agreement.”

Because of her decision to back out of the agreement, she’s now going to court.

And that’s why R&B stars should stick to R&B.
