Beyoncé Giselle Knowles is a singer from Texas, USA. She rose to fame as the lead singer of Destiny's Child in the 1990s before becoming a solo artist during the band's hiatus in 2003.
Her chart-topping album Dangerously In Love – most famous for singles "Baby Boy" and "Crazy In Love" – won her five Grammy awards. In 2008, Beyoncé's third album, I Am…Sasha Fierce, took the music world by storm, scoring the starlet six Grammy awards; the most a female recording artist has ever won.
Beyoncé started dating rapperJay-Z in 2002. The loved-up couple were married in 2008 and had a daughter named Blue Ivy Carter in January 2012.
