Ranking the Disney Channel Theme Songs of Yesteryear | Oh My ...

In the spirit of Disney Throwback Week, we started thinking about everything Disney we once loved—Disney Channel shows included. There are a few that will always hold a special place in our hearts, and their ridiculously catchy theme songs will always be stuck in our heads. In fact, we’re willing to bet that as you scroll through this post, you’ll find yourself humming along. We present to you the definitive ranking of Disney Channel Theme Songs gone by:

11. “So Far So Great” from Sonny With A Chance

Before Demi was “Cool For The Summer,” she was just a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed singer on a cute sitcom, with an even cuter theme song (sung by herself, of course).

10. Even Stevens Theme Song

It’s been fifteen years since Even Stevens premiered, but we can still hear that jazzy theme song in our heads. The claymation Stevens family, particularly in their remote-controls-as-lightsabers scene, will always hold a special place in our hearts.

9. “Live to Party” from Jonas L.A.

Jonas-Brothers

This song was a classic for any true Jo-Bros fan. Are you ready to rock and roll? Are you?

8. “In the Darkness” from So Weird

So-Weird-Theme-Song

The highly underrated Canadian-American Disney Channel show So Weird also had a highly underrated theme song. It was performed by actress and singer Mackenzie Phillips, who also played Molly in the show.

7. Phil of the Future Theme Song

♫ Phil, Phiiiil of the future, he’s a 22nd century man! ♫ Fun fact: This theme song was performed by the same band who performed the theme song for The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

6. Cory in the House Theme Song

That’s right, he’s in the house. This theme song included a title sequence featuring American historical landmarks and icons mashed up with the characters playing instruments. We’re talking a character scratching a record balanced on top of the U.S. Capitol Building.

5. “We’ll Figure It Out” from Lizzie McGuire

♫ If you believe, we’ve got a ____ _____ _____ ♫ We bet you filled in those lyrics just fine. The title sequence of the McGuire family bouncing around is extremely adorable

4. The Proud Family Theme Song

The Proud Family theme song was performed by Destiny’s Child and Solange Knowles. Read: some of the most successful artists in music, period. What’s not to love? Additionally, when asked about Disney Channel in a Billboard interview, Beyonce said, “It’s really cool. It’s a great channel for kids.” There you have it friends, Disney Channel is Bey approved.

3. “Best of Both Worlds” from Hannah Montana

No matter who you are, you’ve got to admit that the Hannah Montana theme song is a classic. While the verses detail her struggles balancing the life of a popstar with trying to be a regular girl, the chorus is the place where we all shine. Go ahead, sing along: ♫ You get the best of both worlds! ♫

2. That’s So Raven Theme Song

We love everything about this theme song: Raven-SymonĂ©’s singing voice, Orlando Brown’s rap … It’s all pretty much perfect.

1. “Call Me, Beep Me” from Kim Possible

There’s one theme song that rules over them all, and that song is a Christina Milian-crooned tune from the beloved cartoon Kim Possible. Though beepers are truly relics of yesteryear, we remember them fondly whenever we think of the line, “Call me, beep me, if you want to reach me.” *Cue the Kimmunicator beep*
